Last month’s Work Life Family Conference was an invigorating experience and provided a great start to some important conversations. It is wonderful to have so many individuals ready and willing to advance the work, life, and family initiatives that were raised.
As a means of moving forward, all who are actively interested in making some of these visions a reality either on your campus or across the CSCU system are invited to a strategy session Friday, November 30, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at CCSU in Room 1849 of the Student Center (2nd floor). Lunch will be provided.
Initially, we will explore some of the processes, policies, programs, and general culture changes we want to see in our places of work and study, so we feel supported in all parts of our lives when we come to campus. We will also aim to answer the following questions:
- What does it mean to have a family-friendly campus?
- What does it mean to have a family-friendly CSCU system?
Please RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org if you will be able to join us. Also, if you know of others who might be interested in these issues, please share this invitation with them.
We look forward to continuing these conversations with you!
