Lobby Day Part 2 @ Officers Club followed by the Legislative Office Building
Mar 31 @ 9:00 am – 1:00 pm

Join us for our second Lobby Day of the 2017 Legislative Session. We again are joining forces with the 4Cs and UConn AAUP for a morning reception at the Officers’ Club located at the Connecticut State Armory followed by meetings with legislators at the Legislative Office Building (LOB).

The morning will begin at 9 a.m. with a welcome breakfast reception, remarks by the three union presidents, and a talk on how to lobby by seasoned lobbyists Joe Grabarz and Bob Fernandez. Wrapping up the reception portion by 10:30, we then will head across the street to the LOB to meet with legislators until 1 p.m.

We hope you can join us in support of quality public higher education and collective bargaining rights for families and workers across our state. Register to attend via the website link provided above. For carpooling information, contact your local AAUP chapter. See you there!
